Memories
Aunt Peg

From changing your diapers to watching you do the John Travolta dance at Eli's wedding, I was always in constant amazement of the talent you had.  So humble, you never saw what the rest of the world saw in you.  But the love in you far outweighed any physical gifts you had.  Always a smile, a hug, an "I love you" even when you were having a crappy day.  You were truly a diamond in the rough and we could always count on your sparkling personality to brighten the room when you walked in.  I can hear with such clarity "Hey Martine, what's up....!" when we were around each other.  You made her smile and she often asked when she could see you next.  Our sadness is temporal but your happiness and perfection are eternal now with God.  We have work to finish here, but we'll catch you when we get there.  We love you so much.

 Dear Jackson,
I remember meeting you when I was at the ripe age of sixteen. I was so fragile and lost and you knew that (you always saw right through me). I knew you and I shared some of the same struggles. One of the reasons you and I always understood each other. You were always an ear for me to talk to. Your honesty (though sometimes brutal) was appreciated and I took all your criticisms along with all your compliments you gave. You were the very first person I felt truly believed in me, and thats what made it so easy for me to really be myself with you. I'll never forget all the times we spent staying up late and taking turns sharing songs with each other that we loved. We'd talk about the lyrics and what they meant to us. I hope you know how much you mean to all of us. There was something so special about having your presence in the room. The attention and laughter you commanded. That's what I'm going to miss most about you. Your wacky sense of humor that left anyone who didn't know you.... stupifide. I feel honoured and blessed to have gotten the priveldge of sharing time with you. I know that there is a God Jacky, and a special place in heaven for fragile angels like you. I'll never forget who you were and I'll never forget who you told me I could be. Selfishly, down here on earth, we all just want you here still, but it helps me to sleep knowing that you have finally found peace. I love you Jackson.

The Top 3 Things I learned From Jackson Palmer:

1. Friends, Family and Love- That's what makes a life and what continues life when you're gone.

2. There is not room for judgement- we all have our stories and no one story can be looked at through the same lense as another.

3. Be true to yourself- it's the only way to live honestly.

Jackson- You taught your friends and family many lesssons but more importantly you lived them. You will be forever missed, forever loved and forever young.

I knew Jackson since elementary school.  My first memories of Jackson were playing basketball on the same team in fourth grade.   Of course Jackson was our star player, he was fast, electric and man he could shoot the lights out.  But what I will remember most was our couch yelling at me and once bringing me to tears at practice.  And who was there with kind words and an arm around my shoulder?  Jackson.

Jackson was hilarious and I'll always remember our competions in sixth grade to see who could unleash the smelliest burps in eachothers faces, it was noxious but even now it brings a queesy smile to my face

But what I'll remember most was that even though I didn't see Jackson often over the past several years, everytime I did he would give me a big hug, make me feel like he was my best friend and as if we had seen eachother yesterday.

Jackson you were truly a great man and you will be missed

jackson,
im going to miss you so much i had so many fun memories with you. above all my favorite was when we wrote that song together, i also found some of your other songs and you were amazing and very talented. you had something no one else had and it was able to be an amazing person and having everyone around you feel like the most inportant person in the world. your smile  just made everyone else around you light up. you were amazing even when you didnt think that you were and you were like a big brother, you defended me when no one else would, and you could always make me laugh no matter how sad i was, you had an inspiring personality and you could help me see life from a different angle you helped me out of so many bad day blues and i thank you so much for just being there and listening i know i was younger than you and didnt know everything yet but that doesnt mean that i ddint care to listen i hope to see you in the future:)
                                                                                    sincerely, Mak:)
